Meetings

We have a weekly meeting on Thursdays at 8pm in McClain 305, as well as a steering meeting on Sundays at 5pm in the SUB outside of Mainstreet Market.

We will be using this this space to keep track of what we discussed in previous meetings, as well as what to look for in the future.

Past Meetings:

-11/19/08 We finished up business for the rescheduled PRISM Dance and then played board games. Killer Bunnies was the group favorite.

-11/12/08 This week we discussed important political issues in the GLBT community.

-11/5/08 This week we made posters for the Prism Dance as well as took care of last minute details.

-10/22/08 This week we had a game night. We played Foosball and other board games.

-10/15/08 This week we had a movie night! We watched Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

-10/8/08 No meeting this week.

-10/1/08 This week we went bowling with the BSU instead of having our normal meeting.

-9/24/08 No meeting this week. Instead we hosted Eric Alva, who spoke about "Don't ask, Don't tell" in the military. It was our pleasure to have him here and we hope to see him again! 

-9/17/08 Congrats to those who were elected into leadership positions. We finalized the Eric Alva information and discussed some recent TWIG issues. It was also game night, so we sat around and played Battle of the Sexes and Catchphrase for a while. We have a lot of cool new members this year!

-9/10/08 This week we discussed group leader positions that were laid out last meeting and nominated members to fill those roles. We also played the beach ball game and got to know each other. Again, we saw a pretty good turnout of new members. Finally, we discussed upcoming events such as Eric Alva.

-9/3/08 Our first meeting of the year! We saw a great turnout and just went over some of our mission statements as well as goals that we wish to accomplish. Here's looking to a great year!
